Learn to Sew – Make a Tote bag

Had a new sewing machine for a Christmas/Birthday?  There is one lurking under the stairs that you are not using? Then this workshop is ideal for you. For absolute beginners or as a refresher.

The day is not the whole day spent getting know your sewing machine. Karen will show you the basics and then you will actually be making a tote bag to take home. There will be a kit of everything you need to make your bag included in the price.

You do need to have your own machine which is in good working order. Karen is an amazing tutor but unfortunately not a mechanic. If your machine needs a service get in touch or you have not taken it out of the box please take it out and make sure it still works.

Level:   This course is perfect for beginners/refreshers who want to learn to sew on the sewing machine.

Workroom:      Please be aware that the workroom is upstairs with a kitchen and toilet on the same floor.

Requirements:     The requirements list will be sent out in plenty of time for the class.

You will also need a sewing  machine in good working order (See above). Please make sure that you have the Sewing Machine manual on the day.
