GDPR Policy

This is a new regulation as of 25th May 2018 which allows individuals more control over their personal data and to protect their identity.

As a customer of Thimblestitch you have the right to access any data we hold for you, you have the right to have your data deleted and you have the right to give explicit consent e.g. when you sign up to our newsletters.

Thimblestitch will only ever hold information that is completely relevant to your order. For example, your name, address and a method to contact you (telephone/email) and payment details. If you wish to find out what information we hold, just contact Zoë at infothimblestitch@gmail.com and we will make this accessible to you. All orders on file will be shredded after six months.

If you attend classes or workshops, your email will be used to send out information pertinent to that particular Workshop/Class.

If you have expressed interest in one of our workshops/classes, your email will be held so that we may contact you.

We do collect information about you when you purchase goods and services from us by mail order. We also collect information when you sign up to our Mailing List. If you visit our website we collect information using cookies.

We do not store your Credit Card details.

We do not share your Personal Data with any other organisations, individuals or anybody else, except as may be required by law and with the following Third Parties who process data on our behalf:

  • Our Payment processing details are managed by Paypal
  • My mailing List is MailChimp (US – Privacy Shield Compliant)

Thimblestitch will never sell any of your Personal Data.
