Saturday 10th October 2026
10:00 – 4:00pm

Sashiko is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching from Japan, used to mend clothing using geometric designs and simple stitching.

Colette has her own distinctive take on this ancient art to which she has become totally addicted to even buying old jeans from vinted to mend! So if you fancy an enjoyable day hand stitching an old pair of jeans or a treasured  jacket. Or make a panel from different denims and snipets of treasured fabrics as a sampler or to make a lovely bag.
