Astonishingly April’s is here with more days looking like spring, Easter is gone….. and the summer holidays are almost upon us
The good news for all of us is that the roadworks are now finished. All those hours of sitting waiting for the lights to change at the Turks Head are over. More time for stitching and sewing
Thimblestitch has been really busy both upstairs in the workshop and in the shop. Hence the gap in between newsletters !! I am always thrilled to see the standard of work achieved upstairs, and I am sure you all get as much pleasure from the experience as I do, if all your lovely comments are anything to go by.
I have a new selection of the ever popular Moda scrap bags, charm packs and layer cakes, the haberdashery side is growing all the time. Also, just on the shelves, is the new range by Lewis and Irene – Bluebell Wood. I really didn’t need any more fabric, but I think that when you see it, you’ll agree with me, that “I just had to have it!” Don’t forget that if you can’t get in to see me, mail order is available.

Now the sad news. Many of you have asked about Jazzy, my Tibetan Terrier. She developed cancer and sadly passed away last month. I am sure that everyone who was welcomed into the shop by her will miss her gentle presence.
Bertie, Jazzy’s bouncy playmate for the last five months, has taken over the “Meeter and Greeter” duties at Thimblestitch. He is still a bit boisterous at the moment. As he has grown so much…… an update photo !
