9 Block Panel – Lino Cutting and Printing with Louise Nichols

On this workshop you will design, carve & print some small square designs that when printed onto fabric will create a larger block panel. The designs will measure approx. 8cm x 8cm & you can either carve several different designs that work together to create your panel, or maybe a positive & negative image of the same design. You can print your squares in any formation you choose. 

Louise will have lots of ideas & inspiration with her on the day so please don’t worry if you’re not sure what to print. Louise will provide all the inks, cutting tools etc. for this, but you’re also welcome to bring your own to use if you have them. Please note there will be a small charge (starting at £7.50) for the pieces of lino & inks used on the day. All you have to bring is paper to draw out the design & fabric to print on. 

This workshop is limited to 10 people due to the amount of equipment available for use.
