Freemotion Embroidery – Christmas Crafts

A fabulously festive freemotion embroidery workshop suitable for those who have learned the basics of freemotion embroidery and wish to progress their skills further by producing some lovely festive creations. You may wish to focus on producing some gorgeous Christmas cards or some fun and festive Christmas decorations or a little of both, it’s up to you! Whichever you choose you will go home with some lovely handmade items perfect for decorating your home or to be given away as gifts.

During this workshop you will be guided through the processes carefully and methodically with in depth tutorials, as well as having a range of original designs to choose from, with lots of hints and tips to help you produce your very own festive artworks.  The class covers image transfer, mirror imaging and freemotion text. 

It’s a great way to use up all those fabric scraps you have been saving at home.  You will be taught all the skills needed to make the most out of this fantastic technique and leave the workshop with the knowledge and ability to continue with your own designs in the future.  

Card blanks, envelopes, tracing paper and ribbons will be supplied as well as original designs to use in class

Level:   Not Beginners and not new to Freemotion.

Workroom: Please be aware that the workroom is upstairs with a kitchen and toilet on the same floor.

Requirements: The requirements list will be sent out in plenty of time for the class. You will need a sewing        machine, freemotion foot
