Freemotion Embroidery Hoop Art

Enjoy creating a gorgeous freemotion embroidery and applique embroidery hoop artwork.  This workshop is ideally suited if you have already completed the beginners class or have tried the technique before.   This in-depth class covers everything you need to know to move from simple applique designs to more complex layered pictures including image transfer and mirror imaging.

With a wide range of designs to choose from at different skill levels, you will be guided through each step carefully and methodically to successfully transfer your chosen image from paper into a wonderfully textured version in fabric.  It’s a great way to use up all those fabric scraps you have been saving at home. 

You will be taught all the skills needed to make the most out of this fantastic technique and leave the workshop with not only a wonderful finished artwork but also the knowledge and ability to continue with your own designs in the future.  

Images, tracing paper and an embroidery hoop are supplied

Level:   Not Beginners and not new to Freemotion.

Workroom: Please be aware that the workroom is upstairs with a kitchen and toilet on the same floor.

Requirements: The requirements list will be sent out in plenty of time for the class. You will need a sewing        machine, freemotion foot
