Carolines workshop a great opportunity to learn the art of  freemotion embroidery, at a beginner’s level.

Enjoy the freedom of drawing with your machine to create your own artwork.  This in-depth beginner’s class covers everything you need to know to learn this technique, from setting up your machine and what equipment you will need, to top tips and handy advice to get the most out of this wonderfully creative technique. 

Throughout the day you will be taught the skills and techniques required, by producing several small samples, growing in confidence as you become more skilled at the technique.  Ending the day by producing a lovely piece of freemotion artwork using the raw edge applique technique.

Workroom: Please be aware that the workroom is upstairs with a kitchen and toilet on the same floor.

Requirements: The requirements list will be sent out in plenty of time for the class. You do need to have a sewing machine and a freemotion foot. A Kit is available to buy for the course. You will need to order.
