Christmas Tree – Louise Nichols

Geli & Stitch – Dee Priest

This course will take you back to the basics of dress making. You will be making wearable garments using printed patterns to cut out, piece and assemble and make an article of clothing of your choice. Along the way, Karen will teach you the skills of inserting invisible zips, setting sleeves and making darts. She will also show you the most appropriate seam techniques for the job.

Dressmaking 6 Weeks – Katie Haywood Wednesday evening

Katie trained in theatrical costume at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.  Since then she has worked for many different dance and circus companies as well as a work placement at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.  For the last 3 years Katie has mostly worked in the bridal industry and specialises in female tailoring.
